XMAS JOYS

Aradhana Academy visited three destitute homes on 10 December 2022. Snehasadan boys home runs by CFIC Fathers, Sanjo Bhavan runs by SD Sisters, and another Destitute Home run by Presentation Sisters. We wished the children Merry Christmas and spent quality time with them.

A visit by the Aradhana sisters, teachers, and students to Christy's Girl's Home infused in us a deep sense of joy and contentment.

3rd Dec.2022 was a memorable day for both the groups as smiles beamed on every face present there.

Scenes of dance, carols, entertainment, and games filled the place which sent vibes of love, excitement, and happiness all around Our Principal Sr.Siji's group's interaction with Sr.Elsie and her group was ecstatic.

This experience was a hands-on lesson to learn the values of sharing and caring

Historically, dance was often performed in rituals, worship, social celebrations, and as a means of entertainment and self-expression. Today, dance is still a part of traditional events but also an element of new innovative performing experiences.

Singing is the act of creating musical sounds with the voice... It may be done as a form of religious devotion, as a hobby, as a source of pleasure, comfort, or ritual as part of music education, or as a profession.

To hone the dancing and singing skills of the students, an Inter-Class Solo Dance Competition was organized. The vivacious dancers set the floor on fire with their energetic performances and this was a reflection of their passion and hard work. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization, and presentation of all the students were very good.

Pranav and Tanuja from Class 7 bagged the 1st and 2nd prizes in Solo singing, and Tanuja from Class 7 and Navyatha from Class 9 bagged the 1st and 2nd prizes in the Solo Dancing competition.

The Sisters and judges congratulated the winners and appreciated the performance of all the children and also encouraged them to participate more in such competitions to enhance their talents.

Competitions are beneficial in motivating young artists and assisting them in developing their creative talents by exposing them to current talent in the area. The objective behind the such competition is to enhance and sharpen creativity among them. It allows students to maintain a balance between academics and co-curricular activities.

A Drawing and Painting competition was organized. The theme given was Environment/Nature. It was indeed a joyful experience for the students. They enthusiastically participated in the competition by exploring their imagination and enhancing their creative skills in their artistic styles.

Ist prize was bagged by Nanditha Shenoy of Grade 6, Bindu from Grade 8 bagged the 2nd prize and 3rd prize was bagged by Vaishnavi from Grade 9.

The winners were awarded Certificates and prizes from the Sisters.

PARENT SEMINAR

Parent's seminar helps to maintain a healthy, positive, and happy relationship between parents and Children. Ms. Chitra from the S Chand group conducted a parenting seminar. The seminar was conducted in 2 sessions. The seminar started with our school prayer and was followed by a prayer song by the choir group. Discussions were made about open-minded thoughts, 21st century skills-4 Cs. (Communication, Critical thinking, Creative thinking, Collaborative) How do parents provide support? How do parents at home inculcate or teach human values to children? How can parents provide a healthy learning environment? How can parents help their children in learning? There was an interaction session between the parents and Ms. Chitra. And some recommendations were made to parents by the school. The seminar was concluded with a vote of thanks.
